ebox on vmware

trying to get ebox to run on vmware. I have it installed it with the nic's bridged to the active nic's. But when I setup the network ports with the external port I loose the internet to the host system. Then no connection to the vmware setup. Is there something I can try to do. to get this to work.

 i`m running a test ebox on VMware Server 1.0.8 and have no problems with it, i dont understand what you mean with "But when I setup the network ports with the external port" can you explain that part?

Maybe the firewall is locking you out?
