smb config problem - user can't access, just admin works
« on: December 08, 2011, 11:08:56 pm »
i've just learned about zentyal and would like to give it a try - but just got a few errors..

i want to make different samba shares:

Folders:
Code: [Select]
1000_folder1
2000_folder2
....

users:
Code: [Select]
user1
user2
..
god_like_user

groups:
Code: [Select]
all_users --> user1, user2
god_like --> god_like_user (this one has ADMIN rights)

now i'm trying to connect via this users.

ALL users are able to list the entire folders. but while trying to access to them, i got the error message, that the original folders could't be found (i checked already the path - they are ok!)

when i'm using "god_like_user" who has got the admin rights, i'm able to access every folder.

how to fix this?

Which version are you running? Did you upgrade from 2.0?

hi,

i'm running the latest version available - just installed a fresh setup of 2.2-1 and let it update everything. Using x64 system.
