[SOLVED] setup and change seetings of ldap master server
« on: November 04, 2011, 05:15:19 pm »
Hi all,

I 'v installed "zentyal 2.2.2"

The main first function I need is "LDAP MASTER SERVER"

I get it working

but when I try to CHANGE

1- the LDAP settings "DN"
OR
2- the LDAP mode "Master/Salve"

I can't find the way to do it:

I TRIED

1- The normal way as said in the DOC: http://doc.zentyal.org/en/directory.html
2- I tried to remove the component "zentyal-users" aptitude remove zentyal-users then reinstall it

but NO WAY..

It seems that when the "LDAP settings" are unchangeable...

If some one can gives a hand...

Thanks A LOT..

Run this instead (As root):

/usr/share/zentyal-users/reinstall

That should reset everything and let you change the mode.

For someone who may need it

/usr/share/zentyal/unconfigure-module users

should do the trick
