What is multigateway?

I found eBox have multigateway function.
Is this multi WAN loadblance?

I'm afraid it is only possible to handle multigateway rules using static IP addresses in your eBox.

well i`m new with ebox
and as far i tested , it work awesome  ;D

but ... i have question ...
how much wan interface that ebox can handle for loadbalancing?

When referring to eBox, I'm referring to the ISO from the website.

Can I DHCP an address and then statically assign it to use this? My ISP provides IPs via DHCP, but I can take that IP and statically assign it. So far, I've had one since April 2008. Using Windows, the IP ends up changing while I'm using it after a few months so I dunno what that's all about. Although, I have one setup in Gentoo which is unchanging. If I move that IP to eBox (using the same adapter and MAC), then could I have a similar experience w/ eBox considering the networking functions are mostly the same as Gentoo?
