fallo al activar el modulo "firewall"

Hola de nuevo:

Cuando activo el modulo firewall y le doy a guardar cambios, pierdo conectividad con el sistema ebox, la maquina sigue teniendo conectividad.
Para voler a tener conectividad con ebox lo que hago es desintalar ebox-firewall con sus dependencias y ya me da acceso. Para vover a tenerlo totalmente operativo de nuevo, lo que hago es borrar los archivos residuales de ebox-firewall y volver a instalar ebox. Si no los borro me quedo igual.

Posteo el ebox.log y error.log, en pantalla no sale nada, se queda guardando indefinidamente.

El error.log es muy largo si lo necesitais os lo envio por mail.

¿Qué versión de eBox estás usando?
¿Es para Ubuntu intrepid o hardy?
¿Has marcado todos los interfaces como externos?
¿Has creado alguna regla para evitar el acceso Web a eBox?

Hola:

Es una Xubuntu 8.10 con ebox Intrepid, tengo un interfaz solo como externo y no he creado ninguna regla, es en cuanto activo el modulo.

Echa un vistazo a [1] para ver un escenario de red donde eBox es un encaminador para hacerte una idea.
