Yes we finally know what the 504 means, however have no clue about the Direct connection in the beginning i always edit the squid.conf.mas in /usr/share/zentyal/stub/squid/ and in the parent proxy line i set up this: no-query default login=PASS.Got anything to do with this DIRECT issue?

what does your cache_peer line in squid.conf contain?

So sorry for the delay there where a problem with the dns here in my node.Ok this  is what i found i /etc/squid/squid.conf and /etc/zentayl/squid.conf.

I've not been able to follow what you did with squid.conf file.
in order to test, you should hack squid.conf.mas file to temporarily store cache_peer directive, then restart HTTP proxy service and give a try.

  YEss it is SOLVED at last, and with a single line, since the main problem was the DIRECT connection.
acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 (wish was already in squid.conf.mas)
never_direct allow all (this send every single request to to the parent-proxy)

and with this, now everything is back to normal. Thanks to christian and ichat for the support and the patience, and to all who read and dint answer too for they time .Great Work to the team of Zentyal

Thanks everybody! We will test that change in the configuration and probably include it on the next version of zentyal-squid.
