90ManageEboxLogs is eating all Ram making the system too slow...

i updated to 2.0.21 3 or 4 day ago. I had no pb with system load.

did you try to restart again ? is it the same ?

Yes i restarted sever times.Still the same..

Meanwhile making some research with top command and some others...

What on earth is this 90manageEBoxLogs process that hangs the system?

I really need the logs, that's why i do not disable the log module. Is there a way to fix it?

how did you install Zentyal ?

is it zentyal iso files or ubuntu 10.04 server and zentyal package  or other method ?

But i tell u again, zentyal has been installed six months ago and so far everything was ok, last uptime was 3 months!

My opinion is zentyal iso file is not the best.
i tried a lot of method, and the best way is 10.04 server + gnome package + zentyal package.

zentyal used too much memory and load processor (not as you).

i saw you create a new ticket.

did you install syslog ng to see more thing in your log ?
to complete zentyal, it really usefull install webmin 1.55.

i remember a had a pb with postgres. i could'nt see any log (database issu)

I think i've installed syslog ng some time ago but i still do not how to use it. Could u give me the commands in order to export logs, so we can found a solution?

Why do i need webmin in zentyal?Isn't a web interface to control the server just like the UI of Zentyal?(or something like this?)Could this help me to my problem?

Yes, i can see the logs when the machine is it's "not-load" phase,(the 90manageEBoxLogs is not running and eating all my memory,making the system too slow)

With webmin you can browse log with a file browser.

or you can read log from syslog ng from your browser. zentyal don't replace webmin for some module.

you can find a lot of log here : /var/log/syslog
command :

tail -f /var/log/syslog

I do what Javier Amor Garcia says in post 25 but whel sheel opens i cannot see the list of tables in order to purge the logs manually...

why do you want send you my log ? to compare ?

you can purge via zentyal web interface : logs => configuration => force purge

do you have a lot of data to save ? a lot of user ?
because, in your case it could be cleaner reinstall properly.

in my case, i installed 4 or 5 times to find the best config. Today everything is ok !
