Cannot login to my domain

I am currently trying to join Computers to my Domain with very limited success..

Basic Info:

Ebox --> File Sharing --> General Settings:

Working Mode: PDC
Domainname: mymk
Netbios Name: mymk


I can add a windows machine to the Domain mymk but upon reboot i cannot login.
The first error i am greeted with is that the Computer Name exists on the Network (it does not) and when i try to login it tells me that the domain cannot be found.
I assume it's because my local DNS Server has the domain mymk.local but not mymk

Hi,

Could you please try with a different domain name and netbios name. Use different names for each one, and please use names which you don't have in your local DNS.

If the computers you are trying yo join are in the same network you don't need to mess with DNS stuff.

Don't forget to restart your windows machine once you have changed the configuration on your eBox machine before trying join the domain.

that did the trick..
thx a lot
only thing left to do is finding the spot where i can place my loginscript :-)

edit: works for windows, but not for likewise running under linux
