Hi,
First of all apologies for all the picture but I want to visualize the steps I took to install the openvpn server and creation of the certificates and followed by installation of the openvpn server and addition of clients. I tried to give you all the information to solve this issue.
I installed the latest version of ebox and the ebox component dialogs gives me that I installed for all components the latest version.
OpenVPN server module 0.11.102-0ubuntu1~ppa1
eBox - Certificate Authority Manager for eBox 0.11.101-0ubuntu1~ppa1
I installed the vpn and I think it is running on the ebox
I also created the certificates in thew openvpn dialog see below
Created three certificates one the CA one for the openvpn server and one for the user.
I downloaded the certificate from the open vpn server dialog using the arrow
And downloaded everything from the openvpn dialog download see below:
Installed the openvpn client and the key certificates in the openvpn/config directory. However when I try to connect I get the following error:
Mon Aug 25 21:33:34 2008 OpenVPN 2.0.9 Win32-MinGW [SSL] [LZO] built on Oct 1 2006
Mon Aug 25 21:33:34 2008 IMPORTANT: OpenVPN's default port number is now 1194, based on an official port number assignment by IANA. OpenVPN 2.0-beta16 and earlier used 5000 as the default port.

The config likes this:

Any one have a clue what I did wrong? I googled for 3 days now and can't find the cause. I also added the directory with double backslash to poitn out the directory where the certificates are stored. This didn't help also.
