How to install Zentyal 2.0 on VMware ESXi 4.1 server ?

I have a many problems and errors after installation Zentyal 2.0 (i386) on VMware ESXi 4.1 server . Who tried to install Zentyal or Ebox 1.4 on ESXi What are the correct configuration settings on ESXi???

Can you be more specified? What is the error and what symptoms do you encounter?

Use Hardware:
HP ProLiant DL 380 G5
Use software:
VMware ESXi 4.1 server or WMware Workstation 7.1.2
Zentyal 2.0 (Image zentyal-2.0-1-i386.iso from http://trac.zentyal.org/wiki/Download)

Today I am tried to install Zentyal 2.0 with English language settings, everything works fine. But after installing Zentyal 2.0 with Russian language settings, I have a lot of bugs:
permanent 100% CPU usage on this Virtual Machine;
can`t complete the installation process of unified communication(can`t  completed  all stages beacause freezing and don`t respond installation process );
after installing unified communication did not respond https://localhost or https://<IP>);
after removal unified communication begin works https://localhost and https://<IP>;

P.S.:may be a problem with language settings??? previous versions (with russian language settings) of ebox did not work too on ESXi.

I am also strugling for several days to install tentyal 2.0.2 on esxi 4.1.... the install is unstable....sometimes it is slow very slow...
sometimes it stops on the wizard then need to resstart and finish... but there i sa problem surely...
I have this setup:
esxi 4.1  + openfiler iscsi storage with several vm, one is ebox 1.4 and is working quite fine...

what information or log can I provide so we remove this problem...

Hi,

I'm running Ebox 1.4 english as my current router as well as Zentyal 2.0.7 as a test both on the same ESXi 4.1 host. Haven't had an issue. When you create the VM, make sure that you choose Ubuntu Linux (32bits) as the OS then install the vmware tools for better performance.

If there is anything specific to the Russian version, I wouldn't know but it seems unlikely.

Also, I haven't tried the unified communication stuff so I can't talk about that.

To install the VMWare tools, I followed the instructions available there:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VMware/Tools

I followed the 2nd method (installing from packages.vmware.com) and it went just fine.

Did you install the version for Xorg system too?
