promiscuous mode - again
« on: August 04, 2008, 10:03:55 pm »
"device eth0 left promiscuous mode"
"device eth0 entered promiscuous mode"

I have this error when starting up my ebox box. I read, that I must disable Network Traffic Monitor, but when I goint to this optin in web interface - interface stops responding.

How I can disable NTM with SSh console? There must be some config, that can disable it?

regards,

jcanfield

What version?  Was this an existing unbutu install?  I run ntop on my ebox servers just fine...this isn't a virtualized machine is it?

I installed it from Ebox image. I think it must be actual version. I try to do apt-get upgrade and there was no available upgrades.

Can I see version from command prompt? The box is pure EBOX - nothing else. Now it is so slow, taht I can not connect to GUI.
