Is possible that you have you ClamAV signatures databases corrupted.

We can try to remove them and download them again. To do so use this commands:
rm -rf /var/lib/clamav/*
freshclam

Does that code also download them again or will eBox do that? I actually have only used this build twice. The first time was when I installed eBox, the second was two nights ago when I setup BackupPC and got it working properly.

The 'freshclam' command will download again the data files

Run /etc/init.d/clamav-freshclam stop then freshclam then /etc/init.d/clamav-freshclam start
