DHCP ranges backward?
« on: June 23, 2008, 09:54:09 pm »
When installed and configured the dhcp server, the ebox server starts at the end of the range (10.0.0.100). Why not at the beginning (10.0.0.10) ?

It is not defined by eBox but by dhcpd process. We cannot control this feature.

You may suggest dhcp clients to get a determined IP address, but the dhcp server will decide to give you that address, if it has a free lease.

You may define fixed address if you don't want this behaviour to happen.
