is eBox "ebox_installer-0.11.101.iso" compatible with AMD Athlon 64?

Hello All,

I downloaded ebox_installer-0.11.101.iso but realized that my spare PC is an AMD Athlon 64bit machine. Can I install this CD to install eBox on this machine? if No, is there a 64bit distro?

The eBox installer is i386 based iso. In order to install eBox in an amd64 arch, you may install Ubuntu server 64bit edition [1]. Afterwards, follow the steps explained in http://ebox-platform.com/installation-guide/, Ubuntu packages section.

Hi,

I have just installed 0.11.101 into two AMD 64x2 machine.  Unfortunately, I have already loaded up with data.  How do I reinstall Ubuntu 8.04 Server AMD 64 and reinstall  Ebox without destroying the data?

If only eBox data is around, you may do a full backup through System->Backup. Then your shares, mails and certificates will be stored in the backup. Then you may download this file to restore afterwards in a cleaned up system.
