Cant restore backup to previously saved image

When I try to restore a backup to a fresh installed (previously saved disk image) , no updates where done between systems.

I uploaded directly and put tar file into /var/lib/zentyal/conf/backups , nothing can go after that.

Some error has happened in Zentyal:

Failed to execute child process chmod 0700 /var/lib/zentyal/tmp//backup.BiVSFI

how can i restore a backup manually?
