eGroupware felamimail IMAP connection to exteranl email account

I'm having a an issue with using felamimail to read an existing email account I have with my webhost account. I have no desire to run my own mailserver on my home box at this time. With that said.

I'm not too sure I have things set up correctly.

All I have done is configured the IMAP and SMTP stuff in the Manage eMail Accounts and Identities settings in the felamimail app itself.

I get a "The connection to the IMAP Server failed!!"

I don't know where to look for logs, and I'm not sure if I have to restart anything after the change.
