New user not visible in list

I've created a new user in my domain. She is now able to login and from the group views, I can add her to specific groups. However, she is not visible in my list of users. Searching for her has no effect.

How can I fix this??? Ultimately I might need to change her account details or reset her password which is now, impossible. :(
