Samba + ClamAV?
« on: April 14, 2008, 08:09:16 am »
I'm trying to find out whether eBox scans files for viruses while writing to or reading from shares.

If not, how could this functionality be added?

It doesn't yet. But it would be a nice feature to add

I think in the writing process will be the right point to add this feature but keep in mind that this feature could be time consuming :).

I know, but I'm sure my server could handle it.

In the meantime, maybe it would be possible to add some sort of scheduled ClamAV-scan of all files beneath /home?

I don't see any problem with that, just use cron to schedule it
