Samba + ClamAV?

I'm trying to find out whether eBox scans files for viruses while writing to or reading from shares.

If not, how could this functionality be added?

I think in the writing process will be the right point to add this feature but keep in mind that this feature could be time consuming .

I know, but I'm sure my server could handle it.

In the meantime, maybe it would be possible to add some sort of scheduled ClamAV-scan of all files beneath /home?

I don't see any problem with that, just use cron to schedule it
