[SOLVED]"Opt-in" Permissions
« on: December 15, 2014, 03:59:59 am »
Don't know if I'm thinking about this the right way, but hopefully someone can help.  I want to create users but not allow them access to any shared folders/files unless I explicitly allow it.  I'm finding that when I create a user they seem to have access to folders unless I deny them access through the Folder/File's security tab.

Is there a way to prevent access to certain folders/files by default unless they are explicitly allowed through the Security tab?

Can you give us more information?  What version of Zentyal, how is your file share setup (using Zentyal as the file share with their built in ACL), how are your users setup, domain setup, ....?  From there we can better understand the situation and try to help.

Hey I realized that I had not set up the share correctly.  Thanks!
