Unable to add additional LAN card
« on: November 21, 2014, 11:26:30 am »
I want to add additional LAN to the Zentyal server I setup. The LAN is a PCI-E network card. I am a newbie as regard the zentyal setup. Pls, how can I proceed to ensure the LAN card is installed.

What card is it? Is there an Ubuntu 14.04 driver for the card?
What happens when you just plug in the card and start Zentyal? Does it get detected and configured?

It's  a pci-e ethernet card. The problem is the zentyal is not auto-detecting and auto-configuring the ethernet card. I'm a newbie to linux. The problem is zentyal is not auto-detecting and auto-configuring the ethernet pci-e LAN card. I have the driver that came with it in a CD, how can I proceed from there?
