Just for kicks and giggles, I downloaded the x86 ISO of Ubuntu 14.04.1
http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.04.1/ubuntu-14.04.1-server-i386.iso- Installed it in Vbox
- added the Zentyal 4 repo in /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb
http://archive.zentyal.org/zentyal 4.0 main extra
- add keyserver and keys:
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 10E239FF
wget -q
http://keys.zentyal.org/zentyal-4.0-archive.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -
- Update and Upgrade: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
If there is a linux kernel update, do a reboot. (maybe a reboot is a good idea anyway)
- Install Zentyal: sudo apt-get install zentyal
- When installation is ready, I do another reboot.
The webmanagement can be accessed in the normal way.
Long story short: x86 version of Zentyal 4.0 IS possible.
