4.0 Data Backup
« on: November 05, 2014, 06:31:33 am »
Folks,

I'm new to Zentyal. I'm considering it as a Exchange Server. But in my research I've noticed that the File Backup tool (Duplicity) has been removed. I see configuration backup, but how am I supposed to backup the Data on this system now? Email backup is a must!

Any ideas?

Thanks

Eric

As i understood, emails hasn´t been backuped by 3.5 either. Only data. The database for emails needed to be backuped manually.
I only knows one easy way, use zentyal inside a HVM, then you can backup the hole installation, or you will install backula or other similar backup solutions in zentyal. You can use your own prefered one wich is available for ubuntu.

Zentyal 3.5 (offline) unter Ubuntu12.04.3 YAVDR 0.5 als KVM Host
Action Pack Abo with a running Exc. 2013 :-)
