Bootable USB flash drive installation?
« on: July 26, 2014, 10:47:07 pm »
I have made multiple attempts to create a bootable usb flash drive installer for 3.5. I have tried every program I can find to make bootable usb drives; LiLi, UUI, unetbootin, you name it Ive tried it. Multiple flash drives as well. I have followed the instructions I've seen in these forums and the "bootable install" instructions on the ubuntu site and nothing seems to work.  The original install (2.3) on this box was using a flash drive, so I don't know why its not working now. Anybody have any suggestions? Is there some trick to this I am not getting?

I have a JetWay JNC9KDL-2700 if that makes any difference.

Zentyal has a trackrecord for not being able to be installed via an USB stick without manual interuption.
