Asterisk and Ebox on diferent servers

I have built a new home server and i want to add asterisk and email server.
I have a TDM400P analog telephony card installed.
I want to install the minimal asterisk part (duhdi?) on host and Ebox with asterisk and email modules in a virtual machine (KVM).
Is it possible?. Any doc about it?

for virtualized voip servers have a look at http://www.saghul.net/blog/2009/05/05/running-asterisk-in-virtualized-environments/.

with ebox 1.3 onwards, you are able to install minimal ebox with ldap on master mode and your host and ebox asterisk and ebox mail in different virtual machines.
