zentyal 3.5 beta and activesync status

Hi there,
one improvement of 3.5 should be a fully working activesync. Thats the development plan  and i hope it really 

Actually after several hours this night (11.05):

• package z-push is not avaiable (not yet or will it not be published any more?)
• openchange is working with webmailer
• sogo-activesync is installable without any error, but on zentyal settings the checkbox for activating it is missing!

So momentally its totally broken...
Can somebody agree this?

And i would advise to update the package. it´s outdated from 27.03. There are several bugfixes missing:

Several updates installed today, still no activesync checkbox available.

please give me a feedback. It has changed nothing, although i see every day updates.

I got the checkbox!

But if I check it, openchange stopped and did not start again.

Solution: uncheck ActiveSync and everything is ok again. But no Active Sync;-(

Strange, although all updates are installed, there is still no checkbox in my installation.
Did you manually installed from console sogo-activesync? Or do you have the checkbox also without an existing sogo-activesync package?

@Torsten73 - I am not sure what I exactly did. I think I installed sogo-activesync manually. I will check it tonight.

After todays Updates I could check the Active-Sync checkbox and it is running.
I had not the time yet to test if it works.

unfortunatly not in my existing setup. I will remove all packages again, last time with this way i have the checkbox but with the same problems like you. the Bug ticket is in work progress (assigned to a person).

Still the same crash after removing openchange incl. autoremove.
I installed openchange and openchangemail in one step, did you do this seperatly or installed openchangemail after activating of activesync?

sogo-activesync works!

What I did:
added ProxyPass /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync http://127.0.0.1:20000/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync retry=0 to /usr/share/zentyal/stubs/sogo/zentyal-sogo.mas and rebooted my zentyal System.

ProxyPass /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync http://127.0.0.1:20000/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync retry=0 is now in /etc/apache2/conf-available/zentyal-sogo.conf.

Now I could connect via Exchange definition from my iPad Air.

For me your solution doesn´t help. The error is still the same.

Did you installed monitor and cloud-client? I think the problem is depending on these packages. I can´t remove them after installing, because then the webserver only shows "internal error" when trying to reach the administration site.

Webserver is also not running with me. My workaround is "service apache2 start"

Then web server is running!

Maybe i need to explain, i see after activating the same error log. On thing is new, on the status site the openchange modul says running, which was before stopped and couldn´t be startet.
The webserver modul is everytime starting, as long as i didn´t remove cloud-client. after this i am unable to open the configuration interface.

I try to connect a android mobil via openvpn tunnel. And i only need to open port 1194 to get openvpn running. its forewarded to the ip and same port on the zentyal server.

How did you connect to your server? only on your local lan or also from outside?

i don´t know for what this proxy is usefull, normally should it work with 3.5 without manually work.

And there for i miss the automatic installation of sogo-activesync. We still need to do it by hand. I expect it integreated in 3.5 when its in the feature list.

And it also should work with one nic, whats not the case momentally.
