XP can't use share folder when XP join domain controller.

I installed zentyal 3.3.4 and set this dc.
My XP computer can join dc and see profiles path.
But I have create share folder on dc.
Adn set user group to share folder.
But XP can't open this share folder.
My win7 computer can see home profiles folder and share folder.
What's wrong this problem?

My zentyal server is 3.3.4
I have set zentyal server is domain controller.

I have create users and group and setup user to group

I have setup share for my group to read and write.

I have set GPO and batch file when user logon auto mapping network drive.
But I only see mapping user folder.It's can't mapping share folder when logon computer use windows xp.
Even I manual want mapping share folder.It's say I can't open share folder.
If use win7 it's can mapping user folder and share folder.
How to check problem and fix it?

My XP will get follow message when I open share folder.
Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailable, or access has been denied
But win7 is ok.
What is this problem?

Have you tried installing Group Policy Preference Client Side Extensions for Windows XP?

yes,I,have.install all update for xp,I have see install this software when Windows update.But still error.

I have try another build pdc software.

Win7 and XP can join a domain with the domain controller after the build is complete.
And I can see the mapped drive in XP system and win7 system.
I think it should be zentyal not know where the problem is set.
I very like zentyal but for XP compatibility should be better.

Oh,I joined the pdc domain resara used XP does not install windows update, so it should not be a problem not installed Group Policy Preference Client Side Extensions

I am not sure as last year I used the sernet samba package for debian. There are ones for ubuntu.

I got similar results with some problems I had been having with Zentyal.

I am not sure why they are doing things differently, but I get a hunch they are.

Have not tried them recently but they are up to date. I did try resara but it just halted full stop in dev. That was still beta Samba4.

I know resara have not dev it.
But it's can't mapped share drive when xp join zentyal domain controller.
It's all ok when win7 join zentyal domain controller.
But It's have some users still want use win xp.

I am agreeing with you in that Zentyal do seem to do things differently with Samba.

And you might be very right that XP will not join.

Anyone else with XP as my focus has been purely windows 7.

I was looking at DDNS for another purpose and I am not sure of the Zentyal implementation.

One is home folder,this is default create by user.
One is share folder,this is my create it.
But it's only see home folder can't see share folder.
I don't know what is wrong.
