Up until Friday night I was running Ubuntu 9.04 and eBox 0.12. This setup was working well, but I had a need to upgrade to eBox 1.2. Because of this I backed up all of my data to an external drive and reinstalled eBox on my server from the 1.2 installer CD. The setup went flawless, but now I cannot setup a working file share. I create a share with all of the proper access controls, but I still cannot login to the shares from another computer (Linux or Windows). When I browse to the server, I see the file shares but if I try to login I get the error "Could not find smb://servername/share". I checked everything I know to check...firewall settings, file permissions, etc. but nothing will work.
I really need to figure out what is going on and get this working before tomorrow since I use this server to work from home. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
