Cannot access virtual interface IP
« on: May 10, 2010, 02:44:55 pm »
Hi all,

I'm trying to make second internal IP for my server. I added virtual interfaces to my internal interface (eth1), so it has eth1:1.
I can ping to my second IP, but I cannot use it for ssh, web, etc.
What should I do in the firewall / port forwarding part ?

thanks.

Same problem here. I've also added a virtual Interface for my intern interface eth1. I'm able to ping and can use the virtual Interface as gateway for my second network, too. All works find except the point that I can't access services like SSH or HTTP from my first network into the second one.
