SMTP server
« on: February 13, 2013, 03:53:18 pm »
Hello raga sorry, I have this problem with outgoing mail. Smartphone with Android I can not send e-mail to 3g network, problems with SMTP, I deny the connection to the server, while in the local network ok, but I do not have to use authentication.

I hope I was clear, thank you.

Ok after further testing I realized that the problem lies in authentication with username and passwords for SMTP, if the policies put forward the range of my network all internal network to send e-mail, if I remove the policy forwarding and use authentication with username and password in the email client even the internal network send, but I like to use those outside the network.

Can you help?

P.S. This is a translation online.

Thanks

The documentation for Zentyal is "You can manage the authentication options Through Mail ‣ General ‣ Mail server options ‣ Authentication.

The following options are available:

TLS for SMTP server:
This forces the clients to connect to the mail server using TLS encryption, thus Avoiding eavesdropping. "

But I can not find these items.
