zentyal-samba installation failed

My installation for zentyal failed and I'm trying to get the last 2 packages to install.
First is zentyal-samba.  I'm getting the following error:

Preconfiguring packages ...

Unpacking samba4 (from .../samba4_4.0.1+dfsg1-1+zentyal2_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/samba4_4.0.1+dfsg1-1+zentyal2_amd64.deb (--unpack):
 trying to overwrite '/usr/sbin/nmbd', which is also in package samba 2:3.6.3-2ubuntu2.3
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/samba4_4.0.1+dfsg1-1+zentyal2_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Second is zentyal-printers.  It will probably work once the samba package is fixed.

Does anyone have ideas how to get this error corrected?

OK - I have tried to remove the following packages that have dependencies on zentyl-samba:

sudo apt-get remove zentyal-samba zentyal-office zentyal-printers

That seems to complete successfully, but when I attempt the following:

sudo apt-get install zentyal-samba

I still receive the error message that tells me to: sudo apt-get -f install
and then, more errors.

Out of curiosity, when you say that your installation failed, it failed during an attempt to install from a Zentyal ISO or from an existing Ubuntu Server 12.04 and using the repositories?

I was attempting to install on an existing Ubuntu server using the repositories.

And you have configured your server installation as described in the Zentyal documentation (scroll down to the packages section if necessary)? Just trying to sort out where the problem isn't .

Yes - that's the page that I used for instructions.  The install process failed on one package (sorry, I don't remember which one) and then went to the completed screen.  I followed instructions on the Zentyal components screen to get most of the rest of the packages installed, but still having trouble with Samba.

Check if you have samba (Ubuntu's, not Zentyal's) installed and remove it if so.
