Hi,

I changed the port of the administrative interface from 443 to 444 in order to allow "regular" https access for website access from outside (webserver ssl port open at 443). Now I can not access the administrative interface anymore - https://my-IP:444 or https://myserver-name:444 does not work anymore.

How can I return to the normal state???

Help please..

THX
Thorsten

Because I am a low-tech user, I would attach a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the server and use the local Zentyal desktop to fix the configuration. :-[

Hi Sam

Of course I already tried this (there is allways a keyboard, mouse and monitor attached): https://localhost and https://localhost:444 is unavailable, too

PS.: Of course, I have access to LDXE desktop locally as well as via remote secure shell

What port is listed in /etc/apache2/ports.conf? (I'm suddenly not sure where the Zentyal interface server configuration is kept; maybe /etc/apache2/sites-available/default-ssl.)

Hi Sam,

Without an further action everything became back to service. I did not do anything intentionally - but before writing the initial post I made of course (several) trials including hardware reboots and restarts of the webserver ....

Also 444 was correct as now everything works as intended - maybe Zentyal requires to run just overnight before the change happens.

Best regards
Thorsten
