Would Zentyal work on this unit

it definitely will... but such answer is totally misleading  :
- how many users do you intend to server?
- what are services to be hosted by Zentyal? if you run only firewall and mail, this device is suitable for tens of users. Adding HTTP proxy with some filtering, more than 4 or 5 users will be the limit and this will decrease quickly a soon as you add more services or filtering rules.

Well it's only for 1 or 2 users (for geeky home propose) .
I want it to host gateway, LDAP and proxy mail and office.

Will it work fine on this little unit ?

It will work ok.... Maybe you want another 1GB ram added but that's only to make things run smoother.

I think it will work. I have a VPS with only 512MB RAM running zentyal as mail and webserver. No problems at all..

Anyway, the heaviest part is HTTP proxy depending on filtering complexity.
