Question about Subnetting
« on: November 02, 2009, 01:49:08 pm »
Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding Ebox subnetting. I am using 192.168.10.x - 192.168.10.254 as my ip range, and 255.255.255.0 as my subnet. Everything is configured so far, but when I want to forward some ports on my internal network to e.g. Destination IP 192.158.10.244 /24, I get an error displaying Invalid destination ip address. I only can use /31 or 32

Thanks in advance!

Cliff

Hello Cliff,

The given IP address "192.158.10.244 /24" is not a valid network address. As you notice only /32 and /31 are valid IP addresses given that.
