Just curious, after downloading a latest ISP from the site and installing, why is Samba still showing as v3.8 and not 4?

Installation and Upgrades / Zentyal 3.0 PDC for mixed Mac and PC Domain

In the most current version of the Zentyal 3.0 build, has there been any progress with incorporating AD control of a OSX machine?
I would like to say I am very impressed with how easy it was to install Zentyal and get my Windows machines to connect. Of course the Macs are a different story. I have been toying with settings for a few days with no luck and only have been able to find old posts either saying it wasn't possible period or it was being looked into. Any new progress, if so any tutorials to get me posted in the right direction?
All that said I do have a set-up where I can test anything on both a mac and PC without affecting anything important, would be willing to be a guinea pig for anything.
