Installation and Upgrades / Re: ebox administration page
« on: September 02, 2008, 10:44:34 am »
With my setup, the external interface is allowed to login on the ebox webinterface... Normally it should be allowed for the internal interface?
If I make connection, then I can login, thus it is at that moment already possible to login via the external interface.
When I disconnect, it can't login on the webinterface. What's wrong with my setup?
tnx

Hey,
I installed and configured ebox for openvpn and it is up and running. The problem now is that I can't reach the ebox administration page, unless I connect with a xp client to openvpn. The webpage is than reachable again.
When I turn off the firewall /etc/init.d/ebox firewall stop, the page is also reachable even when I'm not connected to openvpn.
My interface setup:
Name: eth0
Method: static
External:yes
IP address:192.168.1.33
Netmask:255.255.0.0
Virtual interfaces
Name IP address Netmask Action
intern 192.168.1.34 255.255.0.0

Hello,
After I saved my settings in the ebox browser screen, firefox reply's that it can't establish a connection to the server.
I already restart the ebox service, but still the same error screen in the browser...

Installation and Upgrades / install new printer driver
« on: August 20, 2008, 10:24:27 pm »
Hey guys,
I'm trying to install a minolta driver but ther's no possibility to upload a new driver true the ebox webinterface.
There's a driver available for this printer/kopier special for linux, but I need some help to install this driver.
When I'm trying to manage cups via the webinterface I get the on error, forbidden response.
There has to be a modification to make on the command line, but I'm not that expirienced to solve this on my one.
Somebody already upload succesfull a third party driver?
The distro I use is ubuntu hardy with ebox built-in. The minolta copiers C353/203 have both built-in networkcards.
Tnx
Steven
