You don't need password knowledge with the method provided by bajo.
I wish I had known this as I have just gone through the chore of resetting passwords to "password" and then imapcopy.
Imapcopy is great as you can add all users in a config file and bang it just goes and does the lot.
With thunderbird you still have to know the password and doing this for more than a couple of users is going to be a chore.
Someone should forward bajo's tip as its top notch as I didn't know you could turn off/on password requirements in zarafa.
PS it would be great to be able to get a userlist from zentyal, csv or some sort of format.
I ended up with librecalc and copying and pasting from an ldif. twas not fun.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Owncloud 4.5, LDAP and Zentyal

I have been scratching my head with owncloud.
The main problem is it seems to work and then doesn't and I haven't a clue whats changed.
What is twisting my melon at the moment is that I can logon from the lan but wan side it just doesn't do anything no error just back to the blank logon screen.
Whats worse it did work and with no apparent change apart from a reboot it seems to be ****ed
Thinking I might try and run it in an lxc container or a vm ontop of zentyal.
Anyone any idea's before I give up

Installation and Upgrades / Additional Name Controller

Anybody had any luck trying to set up an additional name controller?
I have created dns hostnames and IP for two servers on 192.168.3.1 & 192.168.3.2.
So they ping fine.
When I try to save /var/log/zentyal/zentyal and the error message say the hostname is unreachable?
Anybody managed to get this working as I am trying to tidy up a site before I quit in the new year.
The second server would be great if I could set up and sync samba users.
Also tried user sync and get Couldn't configure Zentyal as slave: 404 Not Found .
zentyal 3.0 core 3.07 with everything up to date.
