Directory and Authentication / [SOLVED]Zentyal 4.2.2 and roaming profiles on Windows 10
« on: August 22, 2016, 07:07:46 pm »
I have a slight problem with creating roaming profiles for windows 10.
I create a profile using Web Admin (roaming profiles enabled), after that i check the profile setting using rsat (and it points in the right direction), but when I try to login, Windows 10 tells me it can't connect to the account and i have to choose to stay on temp local account or log out.
My workplace has 70+ users (and all computers are on Windows 10) who change places (school) and I need to use roaming profiles.
Thanks in advance.
Edit : Maybe roaming profiles were enabled in zentyal but not in shares.conf (or incorrectly)
Just added few lines :
[Profiles]
path = /home/samba/profiles/
read only = no
store dos attributes = Yes
create mask = 0611
directory mask = 0711
profile acls = yes
csc policy = disable
And it worked like a charm
EDIT2 : Just for info : Zentyal 4.2 works well with Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (they change profile version to 6 and after aforementioned changes, it created V6 user folder
