Тоже перешли с глукавого zentyal на centos и webmin и довольны. Теперь только от одного упоминания zentyal тошнит.

так набери его (СЕРВЕР)  латиницей, переименуй на: CEPBEP

У меня есть сервер с 1С и терминальными подключениями, как оказалось умельцы при его первичной настройке обозвали его незамысловато- СЕРВЕР, причем русскими буквами. Ввел его в домен, но он так же не видет шары на других компах, а это крайне необходимо. Переименовать его не могу. Можно ли как то другим образом решить этот вопрос? Даже принтер подключить не могу локальный.

Russian / Samba, не сахраняются настройки в smb.conf после перезагрузки (Zentyal server)

На сервере Zentyal 2.2-2 (ubuntu server 10.04) после перезагрузки не сохраняются настройки strict allocate = yes в  /etc/samba/smb.conf,
в чем может быть дело?

Established a system, Zentyal 2.0-2!
I would like to add a directory to a file server and assign it a description and a directory name in Russian, have been replaced properly displays the name of my character.

In eBox Platform 1.4.2 it was Ok.

Hi,
there is a problem with cyrillic Zentyal 2.0-2 : when I name the folders Share in Russian, the symbols appear instead of letters and the system fails.
Wrote:  Only ASCII characters are valid for a share name
How to fix it?
In eBox Platform 1.4.2 it was Ok.

Проблема с кирилицей Zentyal 2.0-2 при названии папок Share name по русский появляються знаки ?? место букв и начинает глючить система.
Пишет: Only ASCII characters are valid for a share name
Как это исправить?
В eBox Platform 1.4.2 все было нормально.

Like figured out where to install choose ru then crap is obtained when EN everything is normal.

Вроде разобрался когда при установке выбираешь ru то тогда хрень получается когда en все нормально.

Поставил zentyal на другой компьютер заработал, на процессоре атом 330 не работает!
В чем косяк?

It did not help!

I installed with only one NIC, which was apparently marked 'external' by the installer.  Now I have installed a second NIC and configured it internal but I cannot access the admin web page from Firefox.  I tried https://{zentyal_ip}, https://{zentyal_ip}/ebox and https://{zentyal_ip}/zentyal but there's no response from the server.  However I can log into Ubuntu via PUTty, so the network is correct.

If there's a control panel for administrator access I'm damned if I can find it.

Can you access the machine using SSH? Try restart the service apache (/etc/init.d/ebox apache restart) and try again access the console web...

After installing zentyal 2.0 can not log into the admin panel.
Where is the problem?

ebox 1.5.1 is no such problem.
