Title: Install zentyal 2.03 64bit on Supermicro X7SPA-HF
Post by: SamSpade on May 02, 2011, 09:47:39 am
I installed zentyal-2.0-3-amd64 on my Supermicro X7SPA-HF (Atom 510) driven mini server. The installation from USB DVD finished flawlessly. But unfortunately zentyal won't start. After rebooting the server there is just a blinking cursor on a black screen.

I ran the installation twice but still the same issue.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

(BTW I tried also Ubuntu server 11.04 64bit without any problems)

Hi,

I can't answer your question, but I did want to note that Zentyal's core is Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS. In order to do an apples-to-apples test of a vanilla Ubuntu installation against your hardware, you'd want to use that release of Ubuntu server.

Of course, if Ubuntu 10.04 installs and runs correctly, please do report that. The developers (and community) will appreciate it.
