Mañana jueves, el 15 de abril tendrá lugar el taller "Configuración de eBox como Servidor de Oficina con LDAP y Samba" en el Centro de Novas Tecnoloxías de Galicia (CNTG), en Santiago de Compostela (España).
Se trata de un taller de 3 horas dirigido a profesionales TIC trabajando como técnicos o administradores de sistemas tanto en el sector privado como público. Dear eBox users,
We're glad to let you know that eBox Technologies announced today the launch of an online store aimed at eBox Platform end users. The eBox Online Store - available at https://store.ebox-technologies.com - provides a channel to acquire a number of eBox based subscription services such as VoIP credit or backup storage space, support services or official eBox documentation.
As you know, the recently launched version 1.4 of eBox Platform integrated - for the first time - SaaS options such as remote backup and low-cost VoIP calls aimed directly to the eBox end users. The eBox Online Store now enables the purchase of off-site storage space and VoIP credit that the eBox end users can use through the eBox Platform user interface.
Other services that are now available for purchase include eBox Control Center Subscriptions to manage and monitor multiple eBox servers and support services such as One-time eBox Support, aimed at those customers that occasionally have a need for technical support and eBox Migration Support, to guarantee successful migrations from eBox 1.2 to eBox 1.4. In addition, end users can now purchase official eBox documentation from the online store - to begin with, the official eBox for Network Administrators Guide in Spanish (for eBox Platform 1.4).

With eBox Gateway do both modems need to be plugged into their own LAN ports on the eBox server(eg: WAN>eBox server>Switch), or can it go from a switch to the eBox server(WAN>Switch>eBox)? Is this the same with VM's?
Also are these(eBox Gateway) all part of the single eBox Platform? (eg: is the eBox Gateway/Infrastructure) just a service on an eBox server?

Les informamos que el plazo de inscripción ya está abierto (hasta el 26 de febrero) para solicitar plaza en los cursos de formación certificada de eBox Platform organizados en el Centro de Tecnologías Avanzadas (CTA) de Zaragoza.
Los cursos, titulados "Administración de sistemas con Ubuntu - Aplicación eBox" están orientados a trabajadores, desempleados y autónomos interesados en aprender gestión de redes basada en sistemas Linux. Los cursos se impartirán desde el 8 hasta el 26 de marzo, uno en horario de mañana (duración de 60 horas) y otro en horario de tarde (duración de 48 horas).
Cada curso cuenta con 15 plazas y la selección de los alumnos será a base de su curriculum vitae y prueba de acceso. Como siempre en el caso de los cursos ofrecidos por el CTA, no tienen ningún coste para los asistentes. Los cursos incluyen la realización de examen de certificación durante la última sesión.
Les animamos a realizar ya su inscripción a los cursos mediante los formularios on-line disponibles en la página web del CTA (formulario para el curso de mañana y el curso de tarde)! Para más detalles sobre los cursos, pueden consultar el programa en la página web del CTA.

Currently eBox Control Center features include remote, centralized and secure administration of groups of eBox servers, automatic remote configuration backup, network monitoring and generation of customized reports regarding the use of different network services. Hola, ¿eBox soporta video conferencia?, veo que trabaja con ekiga, pero no he visto documentacion acerca de video conferencia o de multi video conferencia.
P.d: He estado estado probando la version 1.2.2 y de rato en rato se muestra la pagina de administración como una página sin diseño gráfico, solo texto y sin colores y cuando doy click en algún link, no muestra ninguna página y sale un error del navegador, "se ha agotado el tiempo", voy a descargar la version 1.2.6, por favor confirmenme si este problema ya no se presenta en esta nueva versión.
