jsalamero,
So, I don't think I need to modify any files.. but I need to run these commands from what the documentation says:

zarafa-admin -u <resource name> --mr-accept 1
zarafa-admin -u <resource name> --mr-decline-conflict 1
zarafa-admin -u <resource name> --mr-decline-recurring 1

Would I be needing to modify anything in Zentyal to do this?

k.. i'm an idiot.. i didn't find the answer in the words in this forum posting:
http://forum.zentyal.org/index.php/topic,8240.msg33862.html#msg33862

To repeat what jsalamero said:

Create the group in Zentyal and enable mail to it.

Installation and Upgrades / [SOLVED] Zarafa Groups, zentyal 2.0x
« on: October 11, 2011, 05:16:07 pm »
My Zentyal groups are not being imported into Zarafa.  Is there anything I should be doing to get this to work?

I am working on getting resources to work, and I would like to have permissions assigned to the groups to control the resources.  I need the groups to exist before I can give resources permissions.. (i'm still learning how to create the resources ).

This looks like it is the same issue posted May 19, 2011:
http://forum.zentyal.org/index.php/topic,6888.msg27614.html#msg27614
With no response.

This may be the same thing:

This post says 'Solved' but I don't understand it enough to see the resolution.

Thanks,
Andy

okay, i found a caveat.  External Alias setup doesn't work if the alias name is the same as an internal account name.  I still want people to logon to use the system, but they want their mail somewhere else.

I will test aspangilinan's approach by setting the filter in Roundcube.

I just noticed that I posted the 7.0 version of the documentation, it appears the same in the 6.4 documentation.

Installation and Upgrades / Zarafa Resources, recommendation request
« on: October 04, 2011, 05:30:27 pm »
Greetings,
I would like a recommendation from the group on how to setup Zarafa Resources.  I've read the Zarafa documentation and this is the URL for setting up resources: http://doc.zarafa.com/7.0/Administrator_Manual/en-US/html/_resource_configuration.html

This documentation is great and I'm happy about this.  I'm wondering if I should follow these instructions or if there is another way, since I'm using Zarafa in conjunction with Zentyal, that you folks might recommend.

curios, why is it marked with [SOLVE] ?

Also, to clarify, are we talking about the same thing?   I want to be able for a user to forward the mail they receive from their zentyal account to bob@gmail.com.  Is this the same as you?

Hah, thank you for the efforts.  I am still persuadable.  I'm confused I guess about Zarafa and it's lack of an administrative section like GroupOffice (login as admin/admin and handle the backend part of GO) has.  I did give myself the Zarafa 'admin' rights inside Zentyal and I don't see an 'administrative' screen in Zarafa.

I like GroupOffice's ability to have 'groups' with permissions to write/manage specific resources.

I do like Zarafa's distribution lists.  I wonder how it compares to Mailman mail lists.

http://www.zarafa.com/content/editions  <-  on this page it says that the community edition lacks "advanced multi-user calendar" support.  This is why I steered clear of it in the first place.

Thank you for taking the time to work on getting GO integrated into the LDAP part of Zentyal.
