I have this error:

"The domain functional level must be Windows Server 2008 R2 or lower. Please lower your domain functional level."

As in faq Zentyal supports only 2003-2008 so NO Zentyal can't join AWS Directory Service

has anyone joined zentyal to aws directory service?
I think I only need access to sysvol to sync group policy, and I should be able to access to \\domain.aws\SYSVOL using SMB 2.0
any other tips/tricks/suggestions/ideas?

in /home there are just a couple of folders, not for every user, and not for mac users that are those having this issue
in my home folder there is nothing except .profile .bashrc .bash_profile
in smb.conf there isn't [home] section, but there is a shares.conf with

I've to remove this code? in zentyal interface there are no shared folder configured

I've some issue in my domain, I've 2 server (PDC and BDC) and I've 475 objects in PDC and 470 in BDC
so I've done:

                2577 consecutive failure(s).
                Last success @ Thu Oct  3 10:20:21 2019 CESTI've had a network issue so BDC didnt contact PDC, but now the issue is solved
but it seems that there is still something wrong, how can I have more details and understand what's wrong?

we haven't roaming profiles
I think something was broken after zentyal update, regarding home directory

the shortcut on dock to home redirects to something like smb://mydomain.lan/user/something that doesnt exists and cant be mounted
how to remove and change to local home folder?

It turned out I put ADC FQDN in Domain controller FQDN field, but should be PDC FQDN. I feel silly, but I'm glad it works now.

for me, it works with PDC FQDN (e.g. srv001.domain.lan)

I've the same problem and it seems I've fixed, thanks to jgould

pay attention to the fact that if pdbedit results show "Password must change: never" it's NOT ok, it must show something like "Password must change: Tue, 19 Jan 2038 04:14:07 CET"
