Email and Groupware / Re: DKIM with Zentyal development edition
« on: July 03, 2018, 02:47:59 pm »
That was very helpful,,,,,,,,,,,,, actually, it helped me a lot.

After following the steps and the link provided here, I managed to configure DKIM properly.
In my opinion, DKIM is a basic requirement for Zentyal mail server.

Thank you indeed.

Hi,
I'm sorry that I didn't get to understand your case correctly, but in a simple thoughts, why not considering a down grade (if it's possible in your case). as long as your system was working very well on Zarafa version 7.1.4.
or you can get a commercial support from Zentyal.com, I'm sure that they can help backing up your Data and move it to another working Zentyal Environment, or maybe fix the whole problem without loosing any thing.

Found your post at zarafa forum:
https://forums.zarafa.com/showthread.php?9855-Problem-with-zarafa-licenses-after-upgrade-(unable-to-connect-with-Outlook-clients)

and it's really strange that no care to make a follow up.

as mentioned before, Zarafa after Ver 7.1.5 is somehow defected and the defection was on the zarafa-gatway , but now it sounds more than that,  that's why you should consider a downgrade to ver 7.1.4 (the way I did).

note this:
a Zarafa downgrade broke Zentyal 3.2.4 (this is what happened with me, you may do better)

you're on your own my friend  :( , If I were you, I'd do this:
install Zarafa ver 7.1.4 on another PC, and test the License on that one, then it well be shown whether the problem was in the Ver of Zarafa  or not. if it worked, then don't upgrade to 7.1.7

this is my way of solving Linux problems, show us your way, and get back to us.
and before judging, hope some one will the shed the light on a real solution for you,me, and for every one else.

Alaa

Hello, it's not a problem with  Zarafa license.

I had the same problem, and posted a ticket here regarding this issue ( http://trac.zentyal.org/ticket/7607 ) , for my bad luck, no one answered :(
so after googling around, I found out the real problem:

Zarafa 7.1.5 is the latest working version while pop3s is broken in 7.1.6 and 7.1.7

take a look at this link:
 https://forums.zarafa.com/showthread.php?9765-Problem-with-7-1-7-42779-and-POP3

In my case, this is what happened:
after updating Zentyal3 to 3.2.X, Zarafa pop3 didn't work anymore, and then found out that it's not the update of zentyal 3 nor 3.2 that broke the pop3 (on port 110), it's the zarafa's package who did so. (7.1.7)

The only solution was (for me) is to reinstall Zentyal 3.2 and this time without updates, I removed the sources.list to disable all updates so as to keep Zarafa 7.1.4 installed and running.
if you're concerned, please take a look at this link, it describes exactly what I faced after updating Zentyal:

Zarafa 7.1.5 is the latest working version while pop3s is broken in 7.1.6 and 7.1.7

This is your problem my friend, I tried downgrading Zentyal 3.2to use Zarafa 7.14 , but Zentyal got broken, So a new installation of 3.2 without any updates was my only option, and it worked.

the default zarafa package of Zentyal3.2 is 7.1.4, so be careful not to update while installing.
