Lucky guess. I have no other explanation. Has to be IOS problem with activesync or vise versa.
This is a one way issue. Deleting appointment from the Iphone.
I tried it with ZENTYAL on two different Dell servers - T430 series
With raid 1. First case 2 Tera disks, second 4. In both cases failing during the installation UFEI
is impossible to install. While 4.2 works like a charm.

Ok, I found a solution. Use CalDav and Cardav in the IPHONe, do not use exchange protocol. For mail use an IMAP. This is a bug.

You have to install only basic Ubuntu features. Nothing else. No desktop, Samba or whatever. Than, add a line deb to a source file and a wget keys. After the update, install zenbuntu-desktop, reboot and you'll get a desirable interface. Do not make any extra module installation in a terminal! Another options is a bit long, but works fine. Make a full 4.2 reinstall with all packages, except printing. Than, run the upgrade. It works too.
Do not use UEFI. Any partition has to stay in a frame of 2 teras - not more than that. Hardware raid works. If you install Zentyal 5.0 - from scratch, do not install it with a graphic interface - doesn't work. Install it with a terminal only and administrate it remotely.

Hi everybody! I installed a new, 5th release of Zentyal. After dealing with it about a week, succeeded to make it work, including domain, email, outlook and an activesync. Everything is OK, more or less, but one, very disturbing point.
I can not delete an event from the Iphone 7 (IOS-10.2.3-the last one updated) calendar. After erasing the item, it returns back in a few seconds and appears again in the same place. Adding an event works just fine. I tried to find a solution, playing with it a few days, but, alas, unsuccessfully. tried to make changes to a push service, etc. I'd like to stress, that IOS recognizes zentyal as an exchange server without any problem. Any idea?
