Installation and Upgrades / Error Cron job
« on: February 18, 2011, 08:38:01 pm »
Hi Zentyal-friends,
I have a little problem. Every day in the morning I get twice the error message of a cron job at 8:17 and 9:17:
/etc/cron.hourly/90manageEBoxLogs:
Use of uninitialized value in addition (+) at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/Module/Base.pm line 1389.
Use of uninitialized value in addition (+) at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/Module/Base.pm line 1389.
Use of uninitialized value in addition (+) at /usr/share/perl5/EBox/Module/Base.pm line 1389.
Is there somebody who has a solution for this? What can or have I to do?
Thanks for your help.
Lueghi

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Where I have to define the default route
« on: January 29, 2011, 04:28:22 pm »Hi Lueghi,Thanks,
I added the line :
route add default gw "my_IP_GATEWAY"
to the script "/etc/ebox/hooks/firewall.postservice" so everytime the firewall module is enabled the route is being added to the routing table.
Hope it helps.
I have no file like "/etc/ebox/hooks/firewall.postservice". I tried it in the file /etc/rc.local and it works too ....

Installation and Upgrades / Where I have to define the default route
« on: January 16, 2011, 09:38:56 pm »
Hi Zentyal-Users,
first of all I want to congratulate to the team of zentyal:
You have done a great job. I'm using your system as a small home server. And the configuration including the PDC for my win clients was easy and it works like it should.
But I have a small question and I found nothing in the search:
Where I have to define the default route so that the clients have access to the internet? Until now I define it by hand but after every change in the network configuration I have to redo the job because the adjustment is gone .... .
Can anybody help me?
