Hoi Rob,
Mij lijkt een vrijblijvende kennismaking meer geschikt. Wellicht dat we dan een programma kunnen opbouwen/plannen en op het forum presenteren. Mogelijk dat anderen die ook hebben gereageerd zich nog willen aansluiten en medewerking willen verlenen aan de programmering.
Indien gewenst kan ik Nachico (CEO) vragen of hij een mailing wilt versturen met een uitnodiging aan alle Dutch Forum Members.

Ik heb wel interesse in een meeting op 2 juli. Heb je al een tijdstip in gedachte? Aangezien er meerdere fablabs zijn, mogelijk een uitvalbasis voor meerdere bijeenkomsten door heel Nederland?

Hi Pgarcia,
I'm involved in to implementing Proxmox as a virtualization platform for the use of zentyal servers where each server has it's own specific role/function.
As I've red you've successful implemented zentyal onto Proxmox, please do provide me with the pitfalls. Even better, if possible please do post your findings, prereqs or installation-steps to the wiki's new "how-to" to share it with your zentyal forum-frends.

Ben je al bezig met een how-to installatie voor proxmox/zentyal? Lijkt me een zeer geschikt virtualisatie platform, gezien de al aanwezige clustering feature.

Hi Nachico,
The responses are still very low, I think that not many Dutch forum members do login on a daily basis, thus your proposal to sent a one time notification is welcome.
I've also setup a poll to investigate whether there is interest in planning a meeting in the near future.
An other question, does Zentyal has some merchandise like T-shirts, bath towels, etc. The more seen, the more known.

Om een Zentyal User Group Netherlands van te grond te kunnen krijgen lijkt het me evident eerst te weten wie er allemaal in geïnteresseerd is en überhaupt om te weten hoeveel deelnemers er zijn. Vandaar de poll.
Met andere woorden hoe is de animo onder de huidige forumleden?
Mocht je interesse hebben, dan bij deze tevens het verzoek om in de topic van Rob's Voorstel Ronde jezelf even voor te stellen.

Desgewenst kun je Zentyal servers modulaire opbouwen. Dus je kunt de gewenste kritische functionaliteit isoleren.

PS We proberen de Dutch Board alleen voor niet technische aangelegenheden te reserveren. Mocht je verdere technische vragen hebben dan verwijs ik je naar de Engelstalige board. Daar zul je ook adequate ondersteuning vinden. Ook wil ik je attenderen op de uitgebreide online documentatie.

Beste forumleden,
Rob heeft de eerste aftrap al genomen. Bij deze wil ik iedereen feliciteren met het starten van dit Nederlandstalige board.
Zoals al eerder aangegeven ben ik het in deze met Rob eens.
Alle technische zaken kun je idd het beste "droppen" in de daarvoor reeds toegewezen onderdelen binnen de reguliere board.
Al overige zaken zoals bijvoorbeeld het organiseren van een bijeenkomst/workshops lijkt me dit media uitermate geschikt.
Ik hoop dan ook dat we mede dankzij de volledige medewerking van de Zentyal Staff ( @Nachico, thnx!) ons voordeel mee kunnen doen.

Beroep: Systeembeheer bij automatiseerder in Limburg. We verzorgen alle beheersaspecten voor de MKB'er in Nederland. Alhoewel hoofdzakelijk Windows georiënteerd, beheren we ook Linux Servers en Mac's. Ik werk pas sinds een jaar bij dit bedrijf daarvoor was ik windows/unix-beheer Enterprise omgeving bij een van de grootste automatiseerder in Nederland, maar helaas werd mijn functie ge-offshored naar het buitenland. Naast Windows certificering heb ik ook het Redhat Certified System Administrator certificate. Daarnaast ook ruime ervaring met Citrix, Res Powerfuse, Netapp (SAN), HP Blades.
Doel: Helaas gebruik ik tot op heden Zentyal alleen voor eigen doeleinde aangezien ik in mijn omgeving (midden Limburg) toch nog te maken heb met het fenomeen "Wat de boer niet kent ......." Ik zou graag in samenwerking met anderen willen werken aan de naamsbekendheid van Zentyal en de MKB-er willen overtuigen van de functionaliteit, beheersgemak en een lagere TCO. Je kunt ze alleen overtuigen door te laten zien hoe het werkt in combinatie met alle hedendaagse technologie en devices.

I also do believe that support related questions and issues should be dropped in the general forum board. The foreign boards could be used to exchange user events, like personal experiences or perhaps when for looking participants in local implementation jobs or to start main joined advertisement campaigns. Something like that. When Zentyal becomes more known and heard off then we all can benefit. Eventually, it will rise more leads/customers.

No problem at all. My original goal is the start a users group, whether it is founded through a speaking board or not. I just want to know how many Dutch Zentyal Enthusiast there are and if they are willing to share their experiences with implementations they have done. Perhaps we could come together and just start implementing a Zentyal-environment in a fictive/virtual company and then learn from each others vision of completing the job.

I want to know if there's interest in starting a Zentyal Users Group in the Netherlands or if some kind of activity is already in progress please let me know.
Alhoewel er een GoldPartner in Nederland is, waar ik helaas vergeefs al maanden mee in contact probeer te komen, ben ik toch erg benieuwd naar hoeveel bedrijven/beheerders Zentyal implementeren of gebruiken als platform. Het lijkt me hartstikke leuk om geregeld info en ervaring met elkaar uit te wisselen, mogelijk in de vorm van bijeenkomsten of workshops.

I've got the same error, Roundcube database connnection failed!
Restart of the service does not fix the issue.
The error appeared after command: sudo /usr/share/ebox-usersandgroups/ebox-usersandgroups-reinstall
