There should be links to the change logs and what's new in each release. I don't seem to see any.

I've got mine working through Xen (debian distro) using Vmware image and then converting to raw image and made a normal config file for it.

So I don't get the GUI interface as I'm using PV setup but everything else works fine.
Browser interface is ok.

does every install has the same issue?

To cover the basics :
1. You need MX record for your domain to point to your host externally.
2. Your need a public IP, NAT and/or firewall rules to point to your smtp port (25).

Is any of this setup/working? You have no provided any information as to any problems since you've said that you have some of it working ok already.

"but to send to the outside I get it". Sorry but I'm not sure exactly what you are saying here, do you receive emails outside when sending from this server or is that part not working? Can you send mail to this server from outside?

Is there any information you can disclose on this forum publicly that we can test, ie testuser@yourdomain.com to test emails (send to PM if you like).

If you have never done it before, have you checked the documentation at http://doc.zentyal.org/en/mail.html
It provide a lot of information, you also didn't provide any information about your network or what the problem is so we can only assume you only just built it and not tried anything.
You need to read the documentation, then setup and test your configuration before anyone will hand hold you through a complete build of your system.

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Zentyal Gateway (without router)

I've only just joined this forum but sounds like typical debugging is required.

Have you tried to see where it stops, ie tracert -d from the windows machine?
you need to verify the network is correct as i cannot assume the local network is routing via this machine as a gateway. If it stops at your Zentyal host then ip forwarding is not enabled (or firewall not allowing it through).

Also sounds like a typical /etc/sysctl.conf net.ipv4.ip_forward not being set to 1 which you can easily check.
