Installation and Upgrades / Why does Server install fail right before GUI launch?

I have been trying to install Zentyal for the first time on an HP Proliant DL380 G4.
Every time I do the install it gets seemingly all the way through then stops at a screen which says:
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1: clean, 92065/21970944 files, 2007764/87875584 blocks
I have tried changing the raid setup, wiping all partitions, using LVM and not using LVM but nothing seems to make any difference.
CTRL-ALT-F1 takes me to the command line login screen for a few seconds, then it just bounces back to this.
Does anyone have any idea whay might be going on and how I can fix it?
