Email and Groupware / Global Shared Addressbook URL
« on: April 19, 2016, 02:43:32 am »
This has probably (hopefully) been answered elsewhere, but I cannot seem to find it.  We're trying to bring in the Global Shared Addressbook that is visible in the Webmail version of Zentyal into Thunderbird's Addressbook.  I installed the Sogo Connector add-on for Thunderbird, and I see where you can bring in a remote address book, however, it asks for a URL and I do not seem to know what that is.  Almost every other addressbook in the web interface I can right-click on and click "Properties" to bring it up, but not for the Shared Addressbook.  Anyone know how I bring this addressbook in to Thunderbird?  Thanks!

Email and Groupware / SOGo v3 Demo
« on: December 17, 2015, 07:24:55 pm »
The SOGo project just released a new demo of their upcoming v3 update:  http://demo.sogo.nu/SOGo with username/password of: sogo1

This new version looks pretty snazzy.  Anyone have any idea of when Zentyal will move to this new version once it has been formally released?

Email and Groupware / SIEVE Service
« on: November 27, 2015, 11:17:43 pm »
I've been playing with migrating SIEVE filters from an old mail server into Zentyal, and thus far haven't had much luck.  However, I did get the Thunderbird Add-On working so that I could connect to the SIEVE port and manage individual user SIEVE scripts.  This works well (I can see anything I change in the SIEVE script works on incoming messages) but I do not see the changes made from Thunderbird pushed up into the filters shown in the webmail interface.  Is there something I am missing here?  Is there a way to have the web interface update and pull in the updated SIEVE rules from the SIEVE service?  Thanks!

Email and Groupware / SPAM Filter Questions
« on: November 25, 2015, 09:24:09 pm »
We're moving our email to a Zentyal server and as I set up this new server, I have a few questions in regards to how the spam filtering works.  We get an extremely large amount of spam every day (thousands to tens of thousands), so we want to tune the spam filter as best we can.  At one point, it looks like the dovecot-antispam-plugin was installed, but then was removed in Zentyal 2.2 due to a "serious bug".  (See https://wiki.zentyal.org/wiki/Zentyal_2.2_Changelog#mail.)  I never saw it added back in any more recent changelogs, however, the dovecot-antispam command is recognized at the Zentyal command prompt.  Does anyone know if this is included again in Zentyal 4.2 (or if another module performs the same function)?

Also, I noticed that in the the documentation for Zentyal 4.1 it lists the option of spam/ham learning accounts.  (See https://wiki.zentyal.org/wiki/En/4.1/Mail_filter#SMTP_mail_filter.) However, I do not see these options in 4.1 nor 4.2.  Were these removed?
