Russian / Re: Установка Zentyal 3.0.2 на аппаратный RAID-1
« on: July 12, 2013, 03:34:44 pm »
Версия Zentyal 2.2
RAID 3Ware

Interface (any) Source (нужный пул из Objects) Destination (Any) Service (Any) Gateway (нужный gateway)
4. Save

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Zentyal 2.2 and RAID - Stuck after grub install
« on: September 19, 2011, 04:36:31 pm »Setting swap as bootable was indicated in the Ubuntu Howto:Quote8. As with the swap partition, select the "Use as:" line at the top, changing it to "physical volume for RAID". Also select the "Bootable flag:" line to change the value to "on". Then choose "Done setting up partition".
However, I also tried to set the Bootflag on the /boot partition I created but this is not possible to set when the Volume is set to RAID. Whatever I do I cannot change the default 'off' setting.
Normally this is ok as I have other servers running in RAID. But perhaps, it's a Zentyal problem?
Hm, and so?
Item 8 refers to the root partiion.
May be i dont understand you? What do you want to do?

I have follow settings:
Gateways List tab
2 gateways on 2 WAN interfaces, one of it default gateway, Weight for both 1 and enabled.
Balance Traffic Tab
I have created a rule for any network traffic through the primary network interface.
Interface - Any, Source - Any Destination - Any Service Any
The option Traffic balancing it is not enabled.
WAN Failover Tab
Rules for ping ISP gateway for primary interface.
Intervall : 60s
Ping to host : ISP gateway
Number of probes 5
Success ratio : 20%

I have solved the problem as follows:
On tab Balance Traffic I have created a rule for any network traffic through the primary network interface. The option Traffic balancing it is not enabled.
Now when the primary network interface is down network traffic starts to pass through secondary network interface. When the basic network interface is restored network traffic starts to pass through it again.
Best regards,

Yes, I need only it.
Thanks for your answer and have a nice day.

Hello, J. A. Calvo
No. I didn't enable this option.
I have read that this option is balance for traffic distribution.
I need just when the primary channel is inaccessible the secondary joined. It works.
When the primary interface becomes accessible, Zentyal switched to the primary interface back. It doesn't work.
Thank You for attention.

Hi, fuse
I think you can try to change it in /usr/share/ebox/dansguardian.conf.mas
...
languagedir = '/etc/dansguardian/languages'
language = <% $lang %>
...
may be the stroke language = <% $lang %> you can change on by path to you template.
Make backup copy original
/usr/share/ebox/dansguardian.conf.mas
before changes.
Sorry for my English.

Installation and Upgrades / [SOLVED] WAN Failover service doesn't work
« on: December 17, 2010, 08:54:33 pm »
Hello all
I have got a problem with WAN Failover service in Zentyal.
I have 1 internal(LAN) and 2 external interface(WAN) setup for my Zentyal box.
LAN - eth0
WAN1 - eth1
WAN2 - eth2
I enabled both gateways for my WAN interfaces in the Networks-Gateways tab
WAN1 is default gateway.
WAN2 none.
I enabled the event WAN Failover in the module Events.
I added the proper failover rules for primary gateway (ping to host).
When i unplug cable for WAN1 Zentyal box switches my network traffic into the WAN2 interface (WAN2 becomes the primary interface).
After I plug back cable for WAN1 interface Zentyal box doesn't switch my network traffic into WAN1 and WAN2 still works as primary network interface.
Is it bug? Or I haven't understood as works WAN Failover service in Zentyal's documentation?

Installation and Upgrades / Sync eBox 1.5 with AD Windows 2000
« on: July 13, 2010, 10:02:09 pm »Hello all!
I have a question.
Is somebody synchronised eBox 1.5 with AD Windows 2000? As I have understood, AD Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 have different schemes. I try to understand a synchronisation script. May be is someone has solved the given problem?
system:
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bit
ebox-all (1.5)
